I have this voice inside of me. „Write“, it says. Repeatedly. Constantly. Firmly. It’s a calm voice and it doesn’t say much. Not now, not ever. Just this one word: „Write.“

Transitions
It’s a life of transitions we’re living. No matter what we do, where we are, who we’re with – we know it’s all just temporary. And maybe that helps.
How I became a yoga teacher
Where I wanted to go this summer: Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Mexico, Canary Islands,… Where I spent the first month of my summer: Cyprus. Well, sometimes in life, instead of getting what we want, we get what we need. And apparently what I needed was some time off. Which is funny, because I feel like that’s all I’ve been having this year.
My Ljubljana: Favorite cafés
I can’t even begin to describe how happy I am to be living in a „real“ city again. I never really noticed how much I missed having several cafés to explore until I finally started doing it again. So here’s the list of my findings in Ljubljana so far. I will update it whenever I discover something new.
The magic of moving
Moving to a new place always brings this very special kind of sensation. Nothing quite compares to it. It’s a feeling that never grows old. It’s what makes my heart beat faster. Or maybe what keeps my heart beating at all.
Just saying: Those magic three words.
Last Saturday was a big day. It’s the day I said the magic three words for the first time: „I am vegan.”
Two months of EMTM: A very brief summary.
So many things have happened around and inside of me over these past two months. And probably every single one of them deserves an own post (which I have been and will be working on). But for now, I just want to list them. Simply to let you know what’s going on. And maybe also to figure that out myself.
My Gran Canaria: Food journey across the island
The first thing I did after having arrived in Las Palmas was to write a list. Not with sights I wanted to see, not with things I had to take care of, no. With places to eat and drink at. Because for me, exploring a city is exploring its gastronomy. Because I think that nothing else gives you such a real impression of the local culture as a typical restaurant, a cosy café or a busy bar. And because there’s simply nothing I love more than good food. Except for good coffee, maybe.
Internship on Gran Canaria III: Bien, gracias.
It happens to me way too often that things are over before I even realize they’re happening. And that I stumble from one chapter of my life into the next without taking the time to sit down and think about what’s been going on. And why. And what for. And especially what I can learn from it. So here comes an attempt to avoid making that same mistake again.
